Commentary 4/8/14

I commented on Tiovannis Smith Do Now April 1st, 2014, and Jazzy Wilson Do Now.

Truth

Truth is very powerful in different ways. If you tell the truth it can take you places people will trust you with alot of things in life. Lying gets you no where, all it gets you is knowing that you are not trust worthy. 

Working Hard

Just because others in life may have more than you do, or can do things better than you does not mean that you slack on working towards your goal in life. There is always going to be someone better than another person in life, but if you continue to work hard than you can be just as good as them.

Ghost

Don't ever dwell on what has ever happened in the past, people can only dream about what they may think will happen in the future, and live everyday like it is your last. The moments you spend now with the people you love are the best.

A King & Queen

There is always a King in every crowd. Why not you ?
   Along with every King theres is a Queen in the crowd. A woman that takes control if needed, a woman that can take responsibility for her actions. This could be me, this is me. I am that person, people come to, that person that knows right from wrong so I am the Queen in the crowd.

Vision

When you have a vision but you don't act on it then is it someting worth seeing yourself doing. If you are acting on something but don't hav a vision of where you  want to go in life then your action is pointless.

Lack Of

I think what this quote is saying is that, a successful person will not stop at nothing to get where they want to be. A person who is unsuccessful does not have the will power to make themselves successful, they might not go the length to get where they need to be in life.

Granted 2/14/14

What is granted is often taken for granted !

When someone is handed everything or anything they want, it can be taken for granted. Some people grow up and the phrase "born with a silver spoon in the mouth" may occur. With this statement I think that no one should take what they have for granted, it can always be taken away.

Good Father

"What makes a good father isn't what you leave for your son, but what you leave within your son."

Install your son with good knowledge to grow and be a great man. Lead by example so that he knows how to treat people in life. Install your son with the knowledge of knowing right from wrong, and taking care of his responsibilities. 

Fail or Succeed

If you are determined to succeed in life then you will not take failure or any mistakes. In order to succeed you must make mistakes, learn from them, and correct them to move on to better things in life.

This article is about Cristiano Ronaldo, a fantastic Portuguese soccer player. Basically, in this article Vogue is describing everything about him. They go on to describe how he is on the field. He stands out from the rest of his team because of the outstanding white boots he wears, whereas the rest of the team wear black. It is hard for Cristiano to find a woman with all of the fame he has because he claims to have 20 girlfriends but only has met two or three. The way they describe him in the article he seems to be spoiled and gets everything he wants. I guess being a famous soccer player it's known to be that way. I feel that the life he lives is fine because of his wealth, and the way he plays. Although the 20 girlfriends that he has is a little over the top if you ask me, but it might be fine where he is from.

Do you think it is ok for him to have 20 girlfriends and only have met 2 or 3 ? Explain.

Succeed

He is saying that life is about making mistakes but learning from them. As long as you know that no one is perfect and no one will get everything right the first time they try, but you try and try and try again to succeed and make something of your life. Succeed in life failure should not be an option for anyone. (Michael Jordan also said in order to learn to succeed you must first learn to fail.)

Others look at the examples that you provide everyday. The different examples you make affect your daily life and your daily attitude. Lead by example is what most say. The way you influence others should be a good example as a letter.

This quote makes a lot of sense in some way because, things are going to happen to you in life all the time, the reaction is what people may look at. Reactions are a big part of life; good, bad, etc. everybody notices. Everyone should watch their reactions to see what happens, the bad ones are the ones that could take over a persons mentality.

New Year's Resolution

At first, I did not have a new year's resolution but, as I think about things, my resolution is to improve the way I talk.

Step1: Listening to the things I say.

Step2: Substitute the things I say with other words.
